Florida Forensic Examiner Training is a legislatively authorized three-day training series that has been provided by the Department since 1986. This is designed to train mental health professionals on how to conduct evaluations for the criminal courts, and focuses on issues related to competency and sanity evaluations, forensic assessment and report writing, and expert testimony.
